Program Overview
Evergreen Learning Pod offers three flexible learning models for students in grades 3–8. Each model supports both academic growth and creative exploration, with a balance of structure, student voice, and real-world learning.
All programs include small group instruction in reading, writing, and math, with integrated science and social studies aligned to Oregon State Standards.
Core
A morning-only option focused on foundational skills. Students receive instruction in reading, writing, math, and integrated science and social studies. It’s a calm, supportive setting that helps students build strong academic habits and confidence—ideal for families who want structured mornings with flexible afternoons.

Core + Project
Includes everything in the Core program, plus an additional hour of student-driven, project-based learning. Each student takes a deeper dive into a personal interest connected to the quarterly theme and creates a creative response to demonstrate their learning, such as a performance, model, exhibit, or written piece.

All-Day Enrichment
Our most immersive option. Students participate in Core instruction, midday projects, and a long-term Impact Project each quarter. These projects go a step further by addressing a real-world problem through action or advocacy. Students research the issue, propose solutions, and take meaningful steps to create positive change.
