Inside Evergreen Learning Pod

Evergreen Learning Pod is a homeschool support program for students in grades 3 to 8. We offer a flexible, engaging alternative to traditional classrooms with small class sizes, creative instruction, and personalized support.

We believe learning should nurture the whole child academically, socially, and emotionally. Our approach is built on the idea that students learn best when they feel safe, seen, and inspired. At Evergreen, curiosity leads the way. Students explore real-world topics through guiding questions, hands-on projects, and meaningful discussion.

Class size is limited to 3–8 students. Instruction is led by one licensed teacher, allowing for close academic support and social-emotional guidance.

Each quarter is built around a central theme: Community, The Natural World, Looking at Our Past, and Planning for Our Future. These themes connect core instruction in reading, writing, math, science, and social studies to student-driven learning that feels purposeful and relevant.

Evergreen combines structure with creativity and flexibility with accountability. Whether your child needs a fresh start or space to grow, we meet them where they are and help them build confidence, curiosity, and critical thinking.

Our Approach

Inquiry-Led Learning With Real-World Relevance

At Evergreen Learning Pod, students don’t just receive instruction, they engage with big ideas, ask meaningful questions, and explore the world around them. Our learning model is cross-curricular, standards-aligned, and centered on student voice.

We combine academic structure with curiosity-driven projects, helping students develop the skills and confidence to think critically, collaborate effectively, and express themselves creatively. Small class sizes allow us to provide individualized support while encouraging independence.

Each quarter is guided by a theme and shaped by student interests, ensuring that learning feels purposeful, personal, and connected to the real world.
